There is really no reason for me to write anything here.  My books and my sermons are highly autobiographical and between those, my website, and my Facebook profile you can find out more about me than any human being would reasonably want to know.

So I will simply say here that the upper left hand corner picture is me and my brother, Rob.  I adored him then, I adore him now, but I didn’t in the middle.  That story is in the God With Skin On chapter about siblings.  I’ve dedicated the book to him.  That’s also my brother and my mother sitting on a rock on the home page.

This is the third book of mine that Morehouse Publishing has been gracious enough to publish.  The first was Blowing the Lid Off the God-Box: Opening Up to a Limitless Faith.  That was 2005.  In 2006 they published God’s Top 10: Blowing the Lid Off the Ten Commandments.  I decided not to blow the lids off of anything else this time around.  Those first two books are still in print and are available from Morehouse, Amazon, Barnes & Noble, or wherever you like to get your books from.

Yes, I am available to speak or to preach.  I’ve won awards for my sermons, so it shouldn’t be too deadly.  But I get booked up pretty far in advance and also have this full-time job at the Massachusetts Bible Society.  So contact me early if you want to set something up.
